The ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst course is a 20-hour course that combines theory and practise to enable experienced technical testers take their career to the next level. The course will focus on advanced technical testing techniques used in modern software development teams. Attendees will work extensively on advanced topics covering component and white box testing, static analysis, non-functional testing as well as notions of testing automation.

This Advanced Level qualification is also appropriate for anyone who wants a deeper understanding of software testing, such as project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors and management consultants.
- There are no prerequisites for participating in the course without taking the exam. However, if you want to take an ISTQB Advanced Level certificate, you must already hold the ISTQB Foundation Level certificate and have at least 18 months practical testing experience.
- We strongly suggest that you revise your Foundation Level training materials before you take the course, especially if you did Foundation Level more than 1 year ago.
